In popular imagination, the history of sex appears straightforward. For centuries, people in Christian Western society lived under sexual repression, maintained by fear of sin, combined with utter ignorance of their own bodies. In reality, the history of human sexuality is much more intriguing and wild. In this evening discussion, we will explore how people perceived their own bodies and the bodies of others in medieval culture, which in many respects differed greatly from ours, yet in many ways remains the same.

Come and see the real camp of the mighty Northern army! Have a chat about the issues of Nilfgaardian immigrants or just about the weather, and let yourself be recruited in an unguarded moment for the good of your benevolent leaders.

Eating with utensils from a plate is quite modern; in the Middle Ages, people had a somewhat different dining culture, whether it was about the quantity of meals, meal times, methods of preparation, and of course - ingredients. A Light-hearted Lecture on Theological Views from the 16th Century that Shape Our Understanding of Ghosts to This Day.
Contemporary Western perceptions and pop-cultural portrayals of ghosts are shaped by a myriad of influences collected over the past few thousand years. However, from time to time, a work emerges from the depths of history that has such a significant impact that its direct influence can still be felt today. And it is precisely one of these obscure books that this lighthearted lecture discusses.
Jerome, known as an enthusiastic folklorist from the streams of Sellen or evening lectures at the Ofir Mission, will tell you about the manifestations of the afterlife in the moonlight. And if you don't know him directly, you surely know one of the illustrations he created for The Witcher community.
