Rules of Con Morhen
"Even a witcher has his code. This is ours."
Dress Code
At Con Morhen, costumes are not mandatory, so you are welcome to arrive in civilian clothing. However, we are very happy if you do arrive in costume. A costume can truly enhance the atmosphere, as Con Morhen is both a LARP and a cultural festival — and the dress code is part of the magic. It is not an obligation; it is about the atmosphere.
Recommended Attire
- Costumes inspired by the world of The Witcher (characters, factions, races of the Continent).
- Medieval or fantasy clothing in general.
- Civilian clothing — we recommend linen garments, as they have muted colors and fit perfectly into the festival atmosphere. If you choose regular civilian clothes, please avoid sharp and vivid colors.
What does not belong
- Costumes from other licensed universes (Marvel, Star Wars, etc.) — the area maintains the theme of the Continent.
- Clothing with hate symbols or political slogans.
- Face masks covering your identity. Your face must be clearly visible during registration and entry into the venue.
If in doubt, please contact the info booth — we are happy to advise you.
Game Rules
The whole-con game runs on an opt-in basis — you only participate if you choose to. You can play as yourself (non-LARP), or join in as a LARP player and act as a character of your choosing. No one is forced to play, and no refusal to participate needs to be explained. Do not be afraid to ask for non-LARP quest assignments or interactions with other players at any time.
Basic Principles
- "Out of Character" (Mimo hru) — crossed arms on the chest or the words "out of character" mean that the person is communicating as a regular person, not as a character. Please respect this immediately.
- Physical Contact — all physical contact within the game must be agreed upon in advance. Neither costume nor roleplay is an invitation to physical contact. No contact without consent.
- Private Areas — sleeping areas in camps and tents are always out of character unless the hosts explicitly state otherwise.
- Safety Word — "STOP" or three taps on the palm ends the scene immediately for everyone present.
Missions and Tasks
Missions are voluntary tasks issued by player groups. Missions cannot be "solved by violence" — the solution is always verbal or gameplay-based.
Safety and Weapons
The safety of participants is our priority. All weapons are subject to inspection upon entry.
Allowed Props and Weapons
- Latex, foam, and wooden weapons (without sharp edges) — allowed after inspection.
- Bows without arrows or with soft LARP arrows — allowed.
- Archery is not permitted throughout the entire festival grounds. The only exception is the Nazair Brigade camp, where you can try archery using their equipment and under their supervision.
- Metal weapons — allowed, but only if blunted; their use (including drawing) is permitted only in designated areas and with an informed audience. Endangering other visitors is prohibited. Sharp weapons are strictly forbidden.
Prohibited Items and Activities
- Drugs and illicit substances are strictly prohibited.
- Lighting open fires, including the use of gas stoves, is prohibited.
- Firearms, including airsoft replicas.
- Pyrotechnics and fireworks.
- Alcohol brought from outside (exclusive sales apply within the venue).
Medics and Security
If you need medical assistance, there are several medics on-site, identified by a blue t-shirt and blue armband. You can call them via radio at the info booth or through any organizer. However, if it is a life-threatening situation, call 112 or 155 immediately!
Security is identified by a clear black t-shirt with the inscription "Bonhart Security". Do you feel unsafe? Are you witnessing behavior that doesn't belong at the con? Don't hesitate to approach security or the bar staff.
Code of Conduct
Con Morhen is a safe space for everyone regardless of age, gender, orientation, origin, or knowledge of The Witcher world. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying are grounds for immediate expulsion without a ticket refund.
General Rules
- Organizer Instructions: Our team is here for you. Please respect and follow the instructions of organizers, who are identified by a white armband and badge. Do not hesitate to approach them with any issues or questions.
- Quiet Hours: Please strictly observe quiet hours from 22:00, especially in the tent camp.
- Cleanliness: Do not make a mess. Do not throw away trash or cigarette butts! The castle grounds are a historical monument, and we ask you to keep them clean.

- Hygiene: It is strictly forbidden to relieve yourself outside designated areas.
Tent Camp
If you have chosen tent accommodation, you will receive identification at the info booth that allows you access to the tent camp. You can set up your tent in any designated area, but please ensure you do not unnecessarily block space for other tents.
Pets at the Festival
For your safety, pets are not allowed at the event. The only exception is the themed camp of Nazair/Nilfgaard, where trained police dogs are officially present.
Children at the Festival
Children under 15 must always be accompanied by an adult over 18, who bears full responsibility for them. Parts of the evening program may be unsuitable for younger viewers — please follow the program markings.

- Photography in camps and private areas is prohibited without explicit consent.
- Photos featuring minors must not be published on social media without the consent of a legal guardian.
